Today’s intriguing thought:
I took a while to think about the beginning of the semester. I realized how active and excited I was to do everything, meet people, play games, make friends. Most nights my roommates, friends and I would go outside or just have small “parties.”
It’s that college high as a freshman. Everything seems to come at you quickly but you want to experience more freedom, more carelessness. As the months wear down we slowly notice that grades are actually important. Fun things become once-in-a-while opportunities that we occasionally turn down because we have a test the next day.
Don’t get me wrong, we still have fun, but responsibilities have become necessary to prioritize. It’s just freshman year; however, this is the time to decide what you want to do with your major, your life.
