I Swallowed a Horse

I would rather not swallow this horse whole
Anxious and scared, I have to take it in
Ready but not ready, I’ll meet the toll
One gulp of water, some streams down my chin
Slipping and sliding, it emerges out
Dripping yet deciding, I try once more
A sip and a swallow, it went down no doubt
But now I realize, that was one of four
From morning until night, I take double
They are good for my health, or so I hear
For my health, it must be worth the trouble
I’ll take this supplement, to face my fear
On an empty stomach, done what I’m told
I swallowed a horse, a pill for the bold.
