You’re talking to people you know best
You’re smiling, responding, participating
Slowly you don’t realize that the conversation changes
You no longer have full interest in the discussion
Again you find yourself thinking about…. nothing….
Until you come to the realization that you are thinking to yourself
Ignoring the noises around you
You slowly walk away thinking about your life, your future
Your mind takes over, you feel as if you’re sick, but you know you are not
You simply feel depressed
Every noise now has a meaning, you think about its meaning
What do you do? You either sit or go to what pulls you away from reality
Or your mind plays tricks on you
Even when you know you shouldn’t be feeling this way
You hide these words because of what others might say
It’s not “just another day”
It’s every day.
